Microsoft wanted to highlight the launch of the new Surface in Breakpoint, Bluebeam’s digital magazine. The challenge was turning a highly technical engineering story into a narrative that would resonate with artists, architects, and builders.
Introduce a continuous hand-drawn line that guides readers through the article, weaving through spreads and culminating in the Surface’s spring mechanics. The line becomes a metaphor for creativity flowing from technology.
